Slow 2012 Screw build

Thanks guys. I can't wait for them to get here, it looks like the intake shipped today and I am guessing the exhaust and decals will ship tomorrow. I plan in powder coating the exhaust because I can get it done for dirt cheap. Am I the only one who thinks wrenching on your truck is half the fun? On a side note what are your guises opinions of after market grills? Looking at the smittybuilt M1 and the carriage works billet black. Think it would look good?

Exhaust and intake just got here!!!! Can't wait should take that long to out on as I took my stock exhaust off last night. Super pumped right now! Appearance decals will be here on Tuesday next week. Might head over to my local off-road accessory shop and grab some led tails, tailgate brake bar and third brake light.

Does anyone know if you can put a standard tailgate plate in place of the "midget stripper pole" and plastic guard? Plan on getting a bed rug and would like things to be able to slide in and out easily

Well I just got my computer back and will upload pics tomorrow but my exhaust and intake are on! I noticed a little bit of seat to pants increase in power but not much. I have heard that after a couple hundred miles everything breaks in and the computer is used to it and you gain some more HP. I plan on installing decals when the weather is nice (late next week). Most likely going to order a SCT Livewire, but I am open to any other tuner, What do you guys think?

I feel like most cops won't care but knowing my luck, I'll get the ***hole cop that goes by the book. We call states like Oklahoma, "Free States". Here in Kommieofornia, you can't fart in the wind without somebody complaining about it. I was born and raised here and I love it. The Liberals, Illegals, Taxes, and Gun Laws make this state suck.

That is why I never want to live in california. lol to each his own. I have done some more looking around and am need some info and/or personal experience. I recently saw a truck with 2in rancho quick level, 3in rear blocks and 305x55x20 Toyo open country AT Xtreme. It was great looking. I am stuck between the quick level and rear blocks or shelling out the cash for a rancho 4in with rs9000xl and 35x12.5x20 or something close to that size. Will the lift have a much better ride or will the blocks and rancho level be sufficient? I also need to factor in longevity as I will have this truck through college most likely.

Well I still do not have pis of intake and exhaust, but I made had some insight to my lifting situation. I got to drive a truck with a BDS 6in lift and 35x12.5x20in toyo M/T's. It almost seemed to ride better than stock and I am not sure why but I was glad to find out that it did not feel "boat" like at all and handled pretty good with minimal lean while taking corners a little fast. I am dead set on getting a 4in lift come march 1st when rancho offers the $400 rebate. Very interested in the moto metal 961 black with the red bead, along with toyo open country AT 2 Xtreme in 35x12.5x20....Sound like a good tire and rim combo?
