Ok I have ordered a custom Wilwood brake set up...Since we are changing the bolt pattern, and also the hubs I am using a kit that is not available for the 2014 f150...Its the massive 16inch slotted, drilled and Black anodized rotors.. It also has the largest Wilwood 6 piston Calipers, and stainless Brake hoses..the ford takes a different version of the kit,I am using the Chevy set up..

This picture is close to it,the rotors look different,Black like a carbon set up does..

Well we have not been taking pictures as we should of been doing but anyway here is a few,I will post some more during the weekend.....You can see that the bed has been removed along with the whole rear suspension, complete rear end,and all of the mounting points for everything will be cut off of the frame...They are going to cut the rear end housing on both ends and take out about 3 inches on each side....
Then they are going to cut about a foot or so out of the middle of the rear frame, and notch it so the rear diff can come up into the bed...I believe the cab is also going to be lifted up off the frame ....

The second picture is the front of the truck,it shows that the whole front suspension has been removed, along with the whole front end, fenders etc..,and all the mounting points for the stock suspension....

My son is helping out with the work,as he grew up with me in different auto, and racing shops,as I raced, turned a wrench, and even owned my owned shop Till being crippled became too much...

We are going to take this time to do a whole bunch of coating to the factory parts, along with some of the aftermarket parts....My son has opened up a coating business, they will do Hydro dipping painting, etc as well as selling performance parts, and even offer some installing etc...A portion of the profits will go to help disabled vets, and service dogs.....As the company grows we hope to be able to hire only military vets when possiable.....

what is happening is that our family has had a none profit animal rescue for over 20yrs,which the sales will go towards helping it,and use the rescue to provide the source for the service dogs...We will provide and train the dogs then give them away a no charge to the vets,as well as helping disabled vets with chairs equipment, rehab, and hopefully be able to invite those that can to come to our gun range to shoot, ride horses and other fun things....

As you could see in the picture the Air horn for the factory Air box is part of the sheet metal, and welded onto the front part of the upper frame, and side of the core support...We do not know if or how much of that will be able to remain,as fitting the fender well is the first concern after the suspension, then all of the parts around the fender wells are put back either in the stock location or moved with a custom bracket...
I am hoping that we will be able to save the Air horn, and the mounting location of the stock bottom air box....If not I will either have to build a box that mounts up to the S&B CAI kit,or sell the S&B intake, and go with the AFE Stage 2 kit...and if all else Fails just Build a complete one off custom kit,and if it works great, and maybe we will start offering it to anyone interested,as it will either mount up to the stock turbo feeds or replace the whole piping down to the turbo's....

Anyway if you look you can see that all of all the factory mounting points for the springs, shocks and control arms has been cut off,and ground down smooth...The brake caliper has been tied back in place..

Here is a close up of the left side of the front frame rail. You can see just how much has been removed from it...it really is scary just thinking about if it will ever be the same,or better than be in this case...
Anyway the firewall has been given room to be opened up if need be,as the plan is to remove 1/3 to 1/2 of it starting at the corners by the doors and working inwards towards the center of it....
All of the mounting point for the stock set up and be cut off,and ground down smooth to start of fresh..
We will now weld the aftermarket mounting brackets to the frame so the tubular control arms can be mocked up,and then measure it for the brackets for the air bags...

This is the passenger side,we re-hung the fender with just enough bolts so it would stay in the correct place, and if you look you can see that the new mounting brackets have been installed along with the new upper, and lower control arms...the new Gm black spindle and the new shiny hub with a 6.5x5 stud spacing has been installed so they can now keep mocking up parts around it..they will install the new much much large fender wells, and install the new rims, and move cut and weld until everything fits, and there is enough room for max wheel travel, left, right, and up,and down...
After that then they will look at things like where and how to reinstall components in the engine bay they had to take out to make room for the fender well...heck the battery may even makes it's way to the underside of the bed,lol....

then it it all has to be removed and power coated...
