Hotrodad's 2010 build
We bought our new 2010 XTR without the cap and plastic liner they offered with it. I didn't need them sitting around my yard waiting to give them away because honestly, every body's got one around here and you can't give them away. So now they sit in the used parts lot at the used car lot I bought my truck at....with me?
Here's my truck with the stock wheels as I bought it.
Then my wife pointed out these cool rims and figured they would look good to start the mod list with.
More to come but I am also trying to think of something like striping or vinyl that will tie in with the theme from my bike.
More to come later this week when I get the rear window tinted
Thanks for looking

Had a privacy tint installed in the back window. Can't see in but the view out is like looking through a screen. The picture isn't the best but I think the colour and design fits the truck well.
AND....while they were at it I had the rain visors installed on all four doors. My prefernece would have been the type that install into the window track as oposed to stick on the window frame but the installer says there was issues with power windows sensing an obstruction with the flush mount visirs causing the window to reverse...some dumb safety feature hahaha. ever heard of that?

The fact that the "Platinum" decal was on the side of the truck when I bought it (used) kind of bothered me because the truck is not really a platinum edition. So I removed the decal. It came off easily on a warm summer morning with the sun shining on it. The shaded side didnt want to come off the same. I turned the truck around so the sun would shine on the other side an it pulled off with ease. My idea is to have some accent simple pinstripes done and maybe a basic HD lettering. Trying to tie it in with my bike.
