FYI, I take care of my truck. This is a defect found in the base coat. Common among 05 models but mine is an 06 however it has a build date for December 05 so I'm wondering if something was wrong with Fords base coat in 05.

I let it peel for so long until I sanded the peeled spots and sprayed serval coats of Duplicolor color match just to last though the winter. I'm not picky because I do take the truck offroad and work it often.

Cab corner rot is the only thing that kinda bothers me, but we do get a lot of salt here. My body guy is gonna hook me up with a awesome price whenever I decide to do it. I'm gona let it go through another winter and might have it redone spring or summer 2016.

About a month ago I changed up the brakes. Platinum rotors from AutoValue. Rust preventative for frame, paint protection for Coilovers, UCAs, and spindle. Painted calipers, hubs, and rotor shield.

Looks way better and ready for another winter.

Brake pads kinda looked like tacos, but I was really hungry at the time.

From Advance Auto Parts

Did a full brake line flush and made my own one man bleeder.

Along with working on the front I wanted to address the rear and dress it up a bit. Before:

During: sanded every thing, painted frame. Satin because I don't like gloss.

Done: can't help that the caliper paint is glossy but oh well. Also sanded rear axle and painted it with satin black preventative as well.

Default Rear shock upgrade!

Fox 2.0 IFP Performance Shox that I installed myself. Very simple to do like an oil change. Build quality is far superior to the stockers and so is the ride! No more wheel hop , bounce , shutter and soaks up the bumps, potholes, road joints, gravel roads and uneven pacement.

Stock twin tube where very worn out at 105k plus one shock body was dented causing the shock piston to get stuck and sag the rear driver 3in low.

From top of block to bumpstop.
Rest Before ~4 1/2 inches
Droop Before ~9 3/4 inches
Rest After ~5 inches
Droop After ~10 1/4 inches
