Talking Showing off OLD WHITE

well I just joined the forum and thought I'd throw my F1 on here. My brother in law bought the truck basically brand new and owned it and babied it for about 8 years when he sold it to me in MINT condition (he had the truck professionally detailed inside and out once or twice a month the whole time he owned it). Now most of the things on my truck have been done for over a year but as I find more pictures I'll throw them on here. I started with a stock 2000 F-150 4x4 XLT, power everything, with the 5.4 Triton. First mods I did was paint the plastic trim pieces black and add the camo strip. I then cranked the torsion keys and threw on 33x11 inch bfg km2 m/t's. I also had my local shop add some custom pin striping.

Here she is currently but I'll work my way up

(been so long i cant find a picture of my original truck, so just imagine a stock 4x4, nosediving, stock tires, and all the outside trim was actually a really nice dark blue color, pretty rare never seen it on another truck in my town. oh and the straight pipes were on, about the only thing the truck had going for it)

^^^This ones not leveled out

my next mod was installing four 6x8 kicker coaxle door speakers, two kicker 10 inch comps (under the seat), and a 2010 clarion in dash touch screen radio. I decided to put a cb radio in and wired the coaxle under the carpet and out to the toolbox which I had just bought from lowes. It is a black low profile cobalt/betterbuilt. I also ordered a full duraliner bed liner for the bed.

red button is so i can play movies and music videos while driving down the road, for passengers of course.

After having that set up for a year I was ready to go BIG! So I went to my local shop and had them install a 6 inch fabtech lift and a 3 inch leveling kit (only in the front so it bulldogs). I then purchased 37x12.50x20 nitto trail grappler m/t's with 20x9 XD spy's. The shop also put in 4.56 gears front and back. I later bought the smittybilt nerf bars and threw them on. I also blacked out the taillights and 3rd brake light as well as tinted the windows to the maximum legal limit. I wanted a few more horsies for the bigger tires so I ordered a K&N air intake system. I also added a fabtech steering stabalizer around this time.

The next thing I bought was a set of black halo projector headlights. When I put them in I went ahead and purchased an HID kit and added it to the lowbeams and foglights. Also decided to buy some reverse lights so i went to walmart and bought a set of the small trail lights for 20 bucks and put them in. easy install and they work great! until i broke them when I fell off the lip of a mud hole and they got smashed... will be putting them back on soon though.

well after a lot of this

The camo stip, which was already peeling slightly due to improper storing before i put it on, was starting to really come off now so I decided to rip it off and bring it to a shop and have them paint the trim to match the rest of the plastic trim pieces. I realized the hard way what serious mudding can do to your truck so I've stopped for the most part, due to putting $2500 into the front end and having to paint my splotchy frame and axles and lift.New paint looks great though! I also went ahead and painted all the plastics on the truck the same color black including the honeycomb grill. will get a picture of the frame later.

Also around this time as well as my last major mod so far, I wanted to go BIG system wise and brought it to an audio shop to get it all professionally done. I sold my 2010 clarion and purchased a 2012 clarion in dash touch screen dvd head unit with navi and installed a reverse camera (love this radio, loud, has a lot of audio options, and uses swype like your smart phone). I traded in my 10 inch subs and bought two kicker L7 square subwoofers. Because of their massiveness I had to raise my back seat four inches and I still don't have half of the box size I want but I like my back seat. To power the L7s I got a 2500 watt soundstream amp and then to give it enough power I got an extra battery made specifically for sound systems. I also wanted some speakers outside of my truck for bonfires, parties, or basically any outdoor shin dig. So i got four kicker marine speakers (two in the grill, which you can see in the above picture, and two under the toolbox) powered by a 500 watt soundstream amp and man are they loud! I have switches mounted inside to control volume of the subs and marine speakers. The audio shop decided the best place to put the amps, fuses, and extra battery was in the toolbox so they did up a custom spot for them.

yes that amp is almost half as long as my toolbox

That was a list in order of what I've done to the truck to the current day. I know I'm probably forgetting a couple things but I'll throw them in when i remember. Here are some more pictures showing it off (are from throughout the time I was building it)

Mine and my buddy's truck. FORD!
