Salt Flats Speed Week Truck
Currently have a 95 2wd 302 Vortech Supercharged with 4R70W and 3.31 helical slip rear. I also have 30" tires with adapters so those will need to go for sure.I had just put the engine together when I found the supercharger so it has an RV cam with GT40p heads. We'd like to take a run at the 130 mph club and 150 mph club.
I'm looking for some help setting this up for the speed runs. I figure to go with 28" to 29" tires. I have a set of GT40 iron built to run high rpm's. I've thought to use a oem HO roller cam with 1.7 rockers on the intake side. I don't have this piece yet so I'm open to suggestions. I need a cam that will keep producing power up to 5500 rpm's.
For the speed runs our family will collect money to benefit The Kidney Foundation. Any and help will be appreciated on how we can make our goals of building speed a reality.
