Rusty's 2008 SCREW
This is my third truck; my first was a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 I bought in 2005. Then in 2007 when I was 18 and about to go away to college I made the decision to trade it in for a (brand new) 2008 Ford Ranger Sport. I paid my LAST payment on the Ranger in April 2012: 4 months later I totaled it. Then on 9/11/12 I bought my 2008 F150 XLT SCREW. I started modding almost immediately but just decided to start a build thread.
These pictures are 2 days after I bought the truck, the truck came with the towing mirrors. I'd already had the windows tinted (5% tint strip in front and 5% in the back, 25% in the front.

I painted the wheel wells and tomorrow (10/2/12) I'll be doing another coat of the rubberized paint followed by a coat of dupilicolor PTM Black.
Here's the link detailing the first coat:

Finally got around to removing the side rails today, was only going to remove so I could wash and spray the rubberized liner under the cab. But I must say I really like the look. Didn't get around to painting as the weather wasn't cooperating.

Yea I like them too, I'm thinking about Plastidipping the grey strip black. The tires came with the truck 255/65, I'm going to get new shock, leveling kit, and tires soon...

So I painted to OEM Wheels. The prep was a PITA. So i roughed up the areas I wanted to paint, then used a cleaner/degreaser, then sprayed 6 coats of black wheel paint, followed up with 3 coats of clear coat.

So I painted the wheels, but then I came across some wheels and tires for sale from a guy who needed money. Goodyear Wrangler Duratracts LT275/65 R18, have about 40% tread on them but considering I paid almost nothing for them and they are mounted and balanced I'm happy.
