2017 3.5L XLT FX4 SuperCrew Long Bed Build Thread
I recently bought a 2017 F150 XLT FX4 with the 3.5L EcoBoost. It is a super crew with the 6.5' bed. Love the overall look of this configuration. This 3.5L EB is blowing me away. So much fun to drive compared to my previous Ram Ecodiesel. Plus, I have the factory 36 gal tank and I'm getting around 21 mpg. Very happy with this truck.
The parts list below will be updated as they are installed:
Already installed:
Eibach Pro-Truck 2.7" front lift with Halo Lifts Tapered 2-7/8" Rear Lift Block (2.7" Front, 1.5" Rear)
ProClip center console mount
Stubby Amazon antenna
Ford rear wheel well liners
F150LEDs cargo lights and 3rd brake light LEDs
Boosted Grey Goose harness for anytime mirror spotlights
SYNC3 updated to 3.4
Factory LED headlight swap
Bambi mode via Forscan
Boost auto dual tow mirror turn signal/DRL module
Factory LED fog light swap (Platinum Super Duty Factory fog lights)
Factory style fender flares (black plastic finish)
Factory style mud flaps
Window tint
Replace chrome tailgate and door handle covers with black plastic
DIY Raptor bed liner
18" F150 Sport Wheels with Raptor Center Caps
275/70/18 Cooper AT3 XLT Tires
Bora 1.25” wheel spacers
Front bumper covers: color matched white at fog light sections and color matched to SE grille center section
Special Edition Grille
Red tow hooks
2019 F150 Limited Rear bumper dual exhaust swap
Borla Touring dual exhaust with Gibson Ceramic Black 5" tips
Fas-Top soft tonneau and Soft topper
G2 brush on Red Brake Caliper Paint Kit
BuiltRight Industries rear passenger bed side Molle Panel
Parts/Mods to come (in no particular order):
Factory King Ranch LED Taillight conversion
Raptor front skid plate
Here is it after I brought it home:
LED bulbs in the cargo lights from F150LEDs. They match the factory bed lights much better and produce a ton of light. Very happy with them
Ford rear wheel well liners
Stubby antenna from Amazon
ProclipUSA phone holder for the center console. This is my first vehicle with Carplay and this setup is perfect. Very highly recommend this if you have a center console like this!
Thanks for looking! I will keep updating as new parts go on!

Good start
I like my Proclip mount too, and i hate phone mounts as a general rule.
I'll say on the catch can, just go single, JLT is your best bet, but try and get the hoses as short as possible, you'll have to shorten the hoses it comes with, easiest way will be using a cheap brass barb from amazon to reconnect the shortened hoses.

Last a long time? don't let it run the full 10k for an oil change, run synth and go 5k. Regular decent quality oil changes will make a lot of difference to it's longevity. Don't skimp on something simple.

LED headlight/fog light swap is almost ready. Just waiting on the screws for the ballasts and the other super duty fog light. They should be coming in this week or early next week. I’ve been scouring eBay and other parts sites for sales and buying them as I find good deals on them.
