So I decided it was time to get a reverse LED Light kit, I got in touch with my friends at Stage 3 Motorsports and got one of their complete kits. I opt'd to change the pods out for the flush mount style lights with the diffused light beam

Complete kit
http://www.stage3motorsports.com/520...hting-Kit.html

Led Flush mount Lights with diffused lens
http://www.stage3motorsports.com/211...nt-Lights.html

Time Required
2 Beers

Tools required
8mm and 7/16 socket and ratchet
9/32 Drill bit and drill
Masking tape
Marker
Zip cut wheel on air grinder
Sawzall or Jigsaw
Knife
Di-electric grease

Additional parts

8x 1/4-20 x 1" SHCS (you can use button heads instead or any style really) STAINLESS
8x 1/4" Washers STAINLESS
8x 1/4-20 Nylock nuts STAINLESS
Switches bezel OTRATTW :: Accessories :: Switch Holders & Accessories :: Three Position V-Series Switch holder
Switch (to match other accessory switches I will add later with my headlamps) OTRATTW :: Switch w/Rocker :: Contura II & III :: Lighting :: Blue Lens :: LOWER INDEPENDENT LIGHT, UPPER DEPENDENT :: CONTURA II, BACKUP LIGHTS, BLUE LENS, LOWER INCANDESCENT LIGHT INDEPENDENT

So to start, layout where you want to mount the flush mount LED lights. Be sure to measure twice and cut once! Take you time, this step is critical!

Put tape on the bumper, and mark out the the cut out area, in this case 3-1/4" Wide by 3" high.

Use the zip cut wheel to plunge into each side of the square to allow your sawzall or jig saw to enter and complete the cut. Then insert the light, and mark out the hole locations for the mounting bolts

Drill the holes...

Now bolt in the lights...

Next. On to the wiring.
Start under the hood and route the switch wiring through the grommet that accesses the cabin by the drivers feet. There is a large wiring harness going through it already. I just cut a hole off to one side and pushed my wires in.
cut the appropriate hole for whatever switch application you choose to go with. This kit came with another switch but I Wanted to add a few other accessories down the road, so I bought the switches all at once and the appropriate bezel.
Once the switch has a hole or bezel to mount to, route the wires to it and plug them into the switch according to the diagram provided.
For my switch I needed to alter the wiring a bit as everything worked fine, but it would not light my switch up when turned on. What I ended up doing was the two black wires went to poles 7 and 8(jumpered), the orange and blue went to 3 and 6 (jumpered)and the red went to 2. See pic

Now push them into place and secure the wiring

Now route the wiring to the battery, (remove the fuse) and connect it

Route the rest of the wiring down the front of the firewall with the large wireloom that is already there, and follow it all the way along the frame to just before the back axle. Just in front of the leaf spring mount the wires go up to the bottom of the bed mounts, I routed my wiring back in behind this area all the way to the back of the truck.

Remove the drivers side tail light with the 8mm Socket, 2 screws and pull the light towards the rear of the truck

Use the di-electric grease on the provided wiretap connector and clip it onto the blue/white wire feeding your reverse light bulb. plug the loose blue wire from the relay to the wire tap connector (coat it good with di-electric grease)

Route the remaining connectors to each light, plug them in, and tie everything up securely and put the fuse back in and ENJOY!

Output Shots coming. All I'm saying right now is these lights are AMAZINGLY BRIGHT. They come on automatically when I shift to reverse, and I can also use the switch to turn them on whenever someones following too close, or when I need some extra light behind the truck!

Nice. This might be a kit I do, not sure on the flush mount kit though. Lol. I might have to trade in my truck and it'll look awful goofy with two holes in the bumper. Haha.
