Ok folks, i think i have an idea but I would look to see what you guys think. I've seen too many retrofits that have the actual projector lens light up a different color like this.

So i had the idea and an extra pair of 20mm red halos laying around and thought why not try to replicate it.

... Except it turns out as if it has a led halo inside the projector which moves me to the picture of it at night.

It looks pretty unique to me but my only concern, and here is where you guys come in, is if the halo ring on the inside of the lens is taking up too much space and blocking my projectors from performing. I understand that it is going to take up some space but let me know what you guys think.

My other concern is it going to get so hot in the lens that something is going to burn up!

Here it is mounted under then lens itself.

and here is the lens without the halos

If it all goes as planned they will be done tonight! Can't wait to here you guy's opinions!

I believe that you use a little strip of leds to make the projector glow. I'm not sure but I think that halo may take up to much room.
