Default Reedypetey's 06 Lariat with style

So after slowly building my truck for the last few months, i have decided to put it all together and create my thread. As requested by many and seen by few, here you go.

Here she is the first day i picked her up.

[IMG][/IMG]

I had in mind what i wanted my truck to look like and here is a picture to represent what i went by to compare my truck.

[IMG][/IMG]

I dont know about you but i cant possibly imagine driving a stock truck. Had to get her some new shoes immediately

33x12.5.xR20 Toyo Open Country Mts
20 inch XD Bombs

[IMG][/IMG]

Changed out the headlights to tinted oem heads right after the wheels.

[IMG][/IMG]

Decided to add some halos to the mix and ended up with dual red and white oracle halos for the headlights.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

Well after a few short lived weeks with the Oracle Halos, they shorted out due to a badly placed remote box. So i bought temporary halos for the headlights and in the mean time my oracle fog lights came in.

[IMG][/IMG]

Got around to blacking out the bumpers. Linex or bedlined the bumpersJust a little snow in the ole Mississippi. Hell must have froze over that day.

[IMG][/IMG]

Finally got my oracles back to match the fogs! They are also in a another set of headlights. This is my 3rd housing with a chrome background and tinted lens.

[IMG][/IMG]

Thought i would show ya'll the colors since i put them in.

Just a pic of what it all looks like during the day.

[IMG][/IMG]

Decided to do a little mud riding.

[IMG][/IMG]

Couldn't deal with the Honda 350 rancher getting stuck in everything so i had to buy a new toy to fit in the back of my truck.

Say hello to the new 2013 Honda Foreman 500 with a 2 inch lift on 29.5 outlaw tires

[IMG][/IMG]
Ok so now here is where it gets to be an eye changer and a dumb mistake at the same time. I decided to do a little research on wrap jobs and new paint jobs along with plasti dipping. Might i add i went a little over board.

See for yourself...

Well i really wanted to test the durability of the plasti dip so i took the ole 2wd through a few mud holes.

Plasti dip surprisingly held up as said it would. I decided to take it off because my truck was about to be in the shop for a few weeks and i originally planned on doing a different color but i remembered how i wanted it to look.

So i removed it all and this is what the paint looked like underneath the dip.

The paint underneath was flawless and was not damaged at all. It looked just like it did before the Plasti Dip application.

Finally i decided to go visit the my family and purchase a lift from them.
Thank you once again Mrs. Cindy Acree (Executive Director of Skyjacker)

[IMG][/IMG]

Grandpa McCurry (President/CEO of Skyjacker) decided to stop by for a visit.

[IMG][/IMG]

After a long weekend in Louisiana i finally got around to putting the lift on.

6 inch Skyjacker lift with performance Nitro shocks and 2 inch level and side Black nerf bars.

[IMG][/IMG]

Decided to overlay the tailgate emblem.

[IMG][/IMG]

This concludes my build until my 42 inch light bar comes in and my 2 12 inch light bar reverse lights, 4 inch light bar fog replacements, and XKglow underglow comes in.

Truck looks great! Man must be nice to have family that owns/runs a suspension company. They give you the family discount lol. I think the truck looks better without the plastidip. No harm in seeing what it looked like.

Haha yeah it is a pretty big tip. 8 inches is far to big of a coal roller to have on a f150. It gives it a deep sound but it was there when i bought it.

I have been thinking about swapping it with the same tip just a smaller size but i would rather just put the money into the light bar.

I think it really looks good now that the truck is lifted.
