Well, July of 2016 it finally happened, my '99 XLT with nearly 300k miles on it finally had to be put to rest. I was set to get another F150, but did not intend to pick up a "lowly" XL. However, when I found an XL 4x4 with the coyote 5.0, tow package, power everything (windows, locks, and mirrors), oxford white, 27k miles, and a price that still makes me smile when thinking about it (friends and family discount). I had to jump on it.
Next post will be about the mods I've done in these first six months.
Engine: -93 Octane Only
-SCT X4 Tuner with 5Star 93 octane perf/tow tune for daily comfort and 93 octane race tune for when I feel like it. Only takes about 10 minutes to switch between the custom tunes.
