Bought it in May of 2012 from the original owner with 50k miles on it. its a 2006 STX 4x4 with the 4.6 and no power options with ruber floor. Already had the 2 in. leveling kit, American racing atx wheels, mbrp cat back exhaust, westin steps, and brush guard.
First thing I did was nightshaded the tail lights since I had some leftover from my previous truck.
Also added Marathon real tree ap seat covers, clarion cd player, 2 12 kicker comps, 1000 watt Memphis amp, and kicker ks68 door speakers. I was happy that all the speakers fit in it from my ranger.(will get pics of this stuff soon.)
Next i added a set of harley style headlights with the clear corners.
Next was a mod I was kind of scared since no one has tow mirrors on a single cab but was happy with the result. Also plasti diped the grill and all the badges on it.
I then took the hellas off and threw on some knock off kcs and this is how it sits now.
Plans soon are yakima roof rack, spray in bedliner, edge or sct programmer (leading towards edge), and cold air intake.
Got tired of the cheap ebay mirrors leakin when i washed it (which was every weekend) so i had some built. They are stock housings painted flat black with some rigid duallys (spot beam) in there. And you can see the blinker at night just not during the day lol, but once i get a bumper youll be able to see it better.
Picked me up a bumper form the guy who built my headlights it was built by a local shop got it for 300 bucks the person i got it from paid 800 so I feel like I got a deal. Its set up to run 2 30" light bars i plan to add those and some led duallys to it since I dont have fog lights anymore.(which I really miss) It is rattled can black and the plates are rattle can bedliner didn't want to shell out the money for powdercoating.
It was time for some new tires so went and picked up a set of 285/70/17 cooper discover atr. Got the off eBay for a steal there 8 ply and only paid 700 and i think the size up made a huge difference. Havent noticed a drop in mileage yet but power i can feel on take off but it is slight. Went with an at due to the fact i drive way to much to pay to replace them yearly.
Haven't done much lately except i swapped out my plasti dipped badges for a set of 2009+ STX badges, added a Pioneer double din, and a billet shorty antenna. I have a set of led cubes I plan to install under back bumper along with a 20' led in the front bumper. I also put my stock bumper back on after realizing the prerunner look wasn't for me. Have any suggestions let me hear em I'm running out of ideas. One of my long term goals is a set of 20x10 and 33s.
