Yeah, E-3 pay blows. Especially when you don't get BAH and BAS...

haha it does! Luckily my job I get bas even living in the dorms and go tdy a lot. About to move into base housing soon hopefully!

Took a while, but I finally got it all together. 6" rough country lift, 20" t.i.s. Wheels +18 offset 35x12.50r20 Mickey Thompson mtzs. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out

Yes sir I am! Well, until May 12th if everything goes according to plan! Then I'll be moving to Corpus Christi, TX to work on a bridge for 5 years.

nice man I got some buddies in school there! What's your major? Which bridge is it down there?

I'm in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology. It's a very hands on major and I totally love it. It's the Harbor Bridge down there. We'll be building a significantly bigger one alongside the old bridge and eventually deconstruct the old bridge. The old bridge will be able to fit under the new bridge if that gives and idea of sizing. The new bridge I believe will be the longest cable stayed bridge in the US. Here's a snip from an article about it that gives a lot of info. And here's the link:

Thanks! Yeah I'm really excited but kinda nervous. Haha. Just gotta make sure I actually graduate, otherwise everything falls apart which will be really expensive considering I've already signed a lease on an apartment down there. Haha. But it should be a fun project working for, what I've heard is, a great company.
