Are you thinking just a single turbo, or a dual turbo set up? I'm imagining a lot of chrome for shows. Lol.

I really like the twin turbo setups on the 6.2. But ill have to figure out what we are going to do to get this thing pumping a lot of power, but right now were still getting the body and suspension dialed in so performance isn't top on the list.

The Livernois 6.6 @ 11:1 comp puts out ~700/650 and would be much more desert friendly. Not that you can't make F/I work but it adds a lot more weight to the nose. A well balanced truck will be much more stable at speed. It's one of the negatives of the iron block 6.2.

Cage almost complete(will post more pics) getting the truck put back together. Still TONS to do in the next 2 weeks to have it ready for the sandsports show. bringing it to get wrapped Wednesday, picking it up Monday and taking it back to the shop for finishing stuff, then getting all the lights mounted and wired. Monday after the show were bringing it back to the shop to get the new motor put in. Next show after sandsports is the LUCAS OIL series final race in elsinore! so if any of you guys are down there come check it out!

Are you going to foam insulate the roof for noise and heat/cold? With that cage, I'm imagining that you're going to lose about 3" of head clearance.

I will probably doing a dynamat in there. The truck won't be driven at all during the summer so I'm not too worried about heat. And for sound we will have a radio system with headsets because its going to be so loud with the motor and exhaust combo that will be ran. Dynamat should be plenty for the truck as it won't be an everyday driver. But who knows I may take it to an auto upholsterer and let them go to town on it lol

Starting to get the truck put back together. Still lots of work left like the bed cage, bumper, finish wrap, adjusting shocks, interior, new motor, and other finishing things! Overall I'm really liking how its coming out and the feedback at the shows has been great!
