I am REALLY diggin this build!

That shaker hood is bad ***--No guts no glory on that and I give you a ton of credit on doing the install yourself.

Can't say I have the stones to hack my hood like that.

Rims and tires will really set this bad boy off and might want to consider dropping the rear 2" with a Shackel kit to level the stance.

Also, some OBX longtube headers working with the exhaust and shaker hood on a 93 octane tune will make this truck perform as bad as it looks.

Loving this truck. Nice job man. Very cool.

Thanks for the compliment... cutting the hood wasn't really that bad once I got the first hole drilled. 2in drop shackles to level it out is in the trucks near future. I also plan on removing the Fx2 decals to smooth things out a bit.

As for the headers... I would love to put some on but it isn't in the budget right now. Unless of course I find a really really good deal on a set. My custom PHP performance tunes should be here in the next couple days. They said Feb 10 but Edge has been having a bunch of problems with updates lately so it may postpone the tunes for a bit. Mmmmmmm... can't wait.

Thanks for the suggestions... I'm always open to ideas.

It's funny, I see so many different trucks, but yours in particular shows that we share the same taste and style. The pics are great.

After having my tuck for 5 years, I all but convinced myself that it could never give me the feeling a Lightning would. Only recently, in adding mods here and there similar to your style, do I get excited to drive it.

F150's are much more fun that I thought to own. And I feel the 5.4 motor is very underrated. Putting the plugs and phasers aside, it's a great motor and has a lot to offer with the right tune and a couple aftermarket mods.

Full disclosure; this is coming from a former Evo 8 owner too.

So, I swapped out my turn signal bulbs today... I used t some chrome coated bulbs in place of the stock orange ones... much cleaner look

Here is a comparison of the bulbs

Pics of before:

And after

Saaaawwweeeet...No more orange look to my headlights (aside from the corner marker lights)
I really think it looks a lot cleaner. The signal output isnt affected much at all. $10 well spent ($3 per bulb plus shipping)

Just ordered a Peragon bed cover... Should ship March 19th
Will also be ordering new door speakers: Infinity Kappa 6x8 components (front) and Infinity Kappa 6x8s (rear) and a 4ch amp to push em.

Hope to get it all in by the end of the month, baby boy should be here April 1st I get the feeling I will be buying him toys instead of buying them for myself from here on out... Hmmmm. Maybe I could squeeze the 2in belltech leveling kit in before he gets here

Ill post pics of my baby when I get everything taken care of... and I'll post some of the boy when he gets here too

I decided to go with the Infinity Reference series instead of the kappas so I could afford to fill the Lows that the factory stereo was lacking sooooo...

BOOM BOOM BOOM... Just added a 10in Infinity Reference 1100w Sub in a FoxBox... powered by an SSL 1200w 2ch amp. The sub fit perfect in the box... all I can say is that Joe Fox at Fox Accoustics has his $#!t together.
Wow what a difference. It looks and sounds amazing!!! Pretty easy install too. Just ran the power wire, grounded the amp behind the back seat and spliced into the rear door speakers. So far, so good!!!

Looks 10 out of 10:

First of, the box is stamped with the Ford logo which I thought was pretty cool. It does stick out a little (very little) but looks almost factory. Plus it had enough room to mount a deeper sub than most of the boxes Ive found. I also really like the look of the "rhyno liner" instead of the carpeted boxes!!

Sound 9 out of 10: I will probably give it a 10 once the sub is broken in. Solid lows with virtually no distortion unless I crank it all the way. This thing hits hard... Not a wake the whole neighborhood hard. Just a nice back massage hard Im very, very, very happy with the addition... Pics will follow.

BTW, My new Infinity Ref door speakers will be here tomorrow

BTW, The only downfall Ive found is that the seat doesnt fold up when the box is slid all the way back into place, but that is why this box gets .75ft^3 of air... it uses that little shelf space under the back of the seat that most of the other prefab boxes dont use.

MMMMMM... BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!! Dubstep sounds AMAZING!!!

Kyle, I would Email or call them. They manufacture them so I would assume they could build you one upon request... I cant imagine having the double 10 box. My single hits hard enough for me plus it gave me room for my amp under the other seat.

Thanks SRH for the compliments... I try not to cut corners. Infact, sometimes I feel like I take the long way arround

So, Up next...
