Not really. I learned that the F-250/350 remote fold mirrors do not fit the mount pattern on the F-150 so a simple swap of the hardware was not an option. There have been conversions done on older trucks but they were custom jobs done by owners. I believe the new F-150's offer them as options. I did check into swapping mine out with the new ones but it is cost prohibitive. So I'm just waiting for any possible after-market offerings that may pop up now that the new 2013 F-150 offers them as optional.

Hope this helps

Still looking

The salesman at my dealership told me I could get them upgraded to power fold and telescopic mirrors for a '13 for $900. I could see an increase on one side compared to the other is because there is a seperate toggle switch for power telescopic and the power fold is on the **** for the mirrors. I don't think they'd have to upgrade the **** unless you do not have power fold

I'll be doing a write up on Monday on how to do this swap. I just did it awhile back. And it has worked flawlessly for 3 months. The wiring harness on my 2013 RCSB STX is the same as what was on my 2011 XLT.

Sounds good. I would be interested in what you do as I also have a 2011 XLT. But it's a standard "day" cab, not extended, and I realized after it was too late that Ford does not include some standard XLT extras on the day cab just because you ordered and XLT package. Just because it was an XLT did not mean I was getting power seats (or at least the drivers seat). So my XLT came through without power seats! That could also mean the wireing harness may not have accommodations for doing the mirror swap. I don't know that for sure but one thing is certain-my mirror control would need to be replaced with a new one to allow the additional need to fold (and maybe also telescope). Please keep me in the loop on your conversion process as I intend on doing it too.

let me add to my post... The XLT power seat option is included in the extended and work cabs. It's just omitted on the day cabs.

There is another thread on this issue that just started (10/25/2013) in this forum. Do a quick look for it. One post says they are going to post a "how it" guide on Monday 10/28/2013.

I would bet the wiring harness is the same for all models. It's cheaper to build them in mass quantity's that way instead of having model specific harnesses.

Let's hope that is the case...
