Default Plain Jane 06 XL

Hey everyone, name is Tim, and I've been in the tuner scene since 2000. I know slammed and fast but have just gotten tired of having to avoid pebbles on the road. Picked up a 06 XL with 22k for 8k. Felt it was a decent price and I can't wait to lift it. Question is I've been looking through the 1000 plus pages of pics of the 04-08, and have yet to fine a truck like mine that someone has modified. ANYONE?

I already picked up a 2in leveling kit and a Go Rhino Rack Sport Bar, to help make the cab look a little longer. It's just been snowing like crazy and I haven't been able to install them. Looking at getting a 6' Rough Country lift kit and 20 or 22in rims with 35s. Interior will classy custom as I believe you should love the look of the interior as must as the exterior.

Thanks everyone, the support here is great! Ya Black, I do also plan on some tow mirrors and front bumper change.

BROWNING, if you could find some pics that would be very helpful, as of this morning I still haven't found any. Even looking on google, everything has a cab and seems to be a short bed.

Thats how my truck started! Mines an 08 XL single cab long bed, bought it new.

She has a rough life, but gets the best parts and maintenance lol..

bobkyle2, I watched your video..... how many times did you wreck that front bumper? LOL looks like it was at least 5 times. Anyway it looks good and now I have a bit more confidence that my truck will look good lifted.

Well although it keeps snowing like every 2-3 days I decided to start on my box. It's semi built (still need to add more screws and seal the seams) but I'm stuck on how I want to do the arm rest. I was gona use the stock rest, but it is now too tall. So stuck atm but will work on it more as I get some ideas. BTW the box is for a JLw3v2 dual 2ohm voice coil.

A little more progress. Need to get some fabric tomorrow and make it nice. I'll let the pics do the talking.
