Default 1998 f150 comfort build

98, single cab, 4.2, 5 speed, 2wd.

Bought this truck from my uncle back in October. He was the 2nd owner, and also a mechanic, so the truck was really well maintained.

When he bought it, he hated the stock gear ratio. He mainly used it to haul around his side by side, and said the truck was a pooch, so he put in some 3:73 gears and added limited slip... I think he added a leaf or two to the spring pack at that point as well.

The truck is just a 4.2 with a 5 speed, but it pulls extremely well for a little 6 cyl. I've pulled my foxbody vert 1.5 hours away with it, and if you didn't any better you'd think it was a v8.

Originally I wasn't going to do much with it, just use it as a daily driver/work truck, but I kind of fell in love with it.

The seat is a little raggy, so I'm going to pulled that out and either repace it with some nice expedition leather seats and console. I'm also going to add a small stereo system too it, probably a single 12 with some decent 2 way components up front.

The bottom of the truck is gold, don't really love that. I plan to have the gold covered with line x.

Other than that, I'd like to fine a decent looking low profile tool box for it and add a decent all train tire to it (keeping stock tire size/ride height.

Mainly just want to make it more comfortable.

I'll add pictures here in a bit.
