Default Past, Present, and Future of my F150

It all started with my 98 that I had. The big 4.2 V6 with a 5 speed and manual transfer case.

It was a great truck but it started to get rusty. Not much room with a baby seat and the girlfriend in a standard cab, let alone with a 5 speed. I had been looking at trucks and we found out that she was pregnant again so it was time to buy a bigger truck. So i picked up this stock 2005 FX4.

Just after I put on my leveling kit.

Current Mods:
2 1/2 inch level
35 inch Federal Couragia tires with 1/2 wheel spacers to clear UCA
Swapped to an XLT grill instead of the FX4 one
Warn Winch Brush Guard
N-Fab Steps
Truck Cap (Grandpa Mod)
Night Shaded Tail Lights
Tinted Windows
Vent Visors
Kenwood CD player with I-pod Controls
Edge Programmer
Gotts Mod
K&N Filter
Gibson Side Exit Exhaust

Future to Do:
6 inch Lift------ Very soon hopefully
Ballistic Jesters for rims
Harley style headlights

So I rolled around with it leveled and stock size tires for a while. Then came the sand dunes a few months after I bought it. Nice family trip with my daughter and girlfriend. The truck did really well and got me hooked on going back.

My daughter and girlfriend out walking the dunes.

Half way down test hill. Took way to long to walk back up.

What it's all about.

Some awesome sun sets over Lake Michigan

Next came some American Racing wheels i picked up off craigslist and a used set of Terra Grapplers around 33 inches. The offset even with 33's rubbed a lot at full lock.

So I decided back to stock wheels and 35's. I also painted the running board with bedliner in the mean time.

Other add-on's included a Warm Winch Brush Guard in stainless and some Nfab steps for really cheap.

I also added a truck cap. Was never huge on them but it is nice to have a nice open cargo area with plenty of space.

The latest thing i did was Plasti Dip the Brushguard. I like stainless but It didn't flow with everything else.

If I were to have bought it new I would have. I got a really good deal on this one used. That black ones are steel, I don't believe they are stainless tho. I had thought about getting it bedlinered, but we shall see how the plasti dip holds up
