We all here at the shop agreed no more than 6 inches up and we are still debating if we want to put 35's because 35's can be quite expensive. lambo2936 we are looking brush guards right now love the suggestion, we would love to find a guard/hitch combo that's high quality but without spending the road armor price. Also thatIRISHtruck I like your ideas and costs but instead of a programmer buy a brush guard. With all due respect I don't think they need to be going fast anyways. Keep the suggestions coming! I will start another thread when we start looks!
Not trying to jump back at your comment, but I threw the programmer in the mix for MPG, not speed, haha. Trust me, it would be a significant tool in helping the truck be the best it can be (any programmer). Now, it may be better for larger tires, but I'm sure it's still good on any setup. Likewise, whatever you do is completely up to you guys, and is going to be awesome. As for brush guards (which is a sweet upgrade as well), Ranch Hand has probably one of the best quality/well built (made to last) brush guards around. Though, there are others that have identical brush guards, but they're not made by Ranch Hand. Also, here's a picture of a truck. I don't know how close it resembles the one you guys are doing, but it's a start.

But yes programmer is considered right now, thanks for pitching in ranch hand idea I checked out the guards they have for our truck and I like them a lot. Thanks for the pictures that's exactly it! How would you feel about the lower valence painted black instead of chrome? I've been considering that and we do it ourself so it's free

No, you're good. I just wanted to make sure we're clear on that matter. I'm not much of one to make descions on what to paint, and what not to, but if you guys can do it for free then it sounds like a nice touch for sure (might want to match it with something though, ex. back chrome bumper, etc.). Oh, and no problem on the picture, glad that's the right one.

thatIRISHtruck should paint white or black? I was considering putting a nfab bumper on the front with a light bar or KC lights then just paint the rear black

Good point. If I was going for a clean/simple look (no aftermarket bumpers) then I would paint the bumpers white to match the rest of the truck. However, if I was going to add a grille guard/bull bar/aftermarket bumper then I would most likely consider painting the exsisiting bumpers black to match whatever is not replaced, or even the one that is covered up by an aftermarket item. Hopefully, I didn't make that too confusing at the end.

I understand perfectly! Downside is we found a problem with the engine so we might be set back another 7-10 days, but we have already bought tires and rims and now I'm looking into programmers and brush guards. Will keep posted, and thanks for the paint input I think we're going black on the chrome its different

Sounds like a plan. Good to hear parts are in the works.
