I'll definitely update here after I get them on today. Really don't think I'm gonna see a big difference in mpg. 1 maybe but I really don't think it's gonna be a lot. The 40's weight 100 lb and my current 37s weight 74 lb. My mpg right now is a little low because I need to replace my throttle body and the sensors. I've had the parts sitting in my basement but I don't have a garage right now and it's cold and snowy here in MA. I used to get 14 and now it jumps as low as 10 since I've had issues with the throttle body

Default never ending 05 STX build on 37s

These are the codes I get right now. It's weird they only pop up when I drive in 4wd for more than a few minutes. They've never popped up in 2wd. But when they do the truck skips a bit. I've gone through multiple tps sensors in my jeep and it feels exactly like that. .maybe I should suck it up and install the TB already. Just sucks I have to go to the dealership after to get it flashed

Have you tried cleaning it. Out Throttle body's get caked-up on bottom and it causes the butterfly to hang for a split second when you come of the throttle hard and it cause it to throw the wrench light on and respond with now accelerator pedal. A little carb cleaner, clean cloth and soft tooth brush, unbottle the throttle body (make sure to put a cloth in the intake while its off so nothing falls in to the intake. Give it a good cleanup and reinstall, no gaskets needed. At worst you wasted sometime in the cold, and a few bucks on carb cleaner. At best you saved yourself about $500 between new throttle body and programing.
You may want to check out this video to relearn the throttle body vs going to dealer

I thought about it! Debated on cleaning vs replacing. I opted to replace because for one, worst comes to worse I'll have a spare. And I go through a lot of mud and if these tps sensors are anything like the one I have on my jeep, they're sensitive to a lot of mud and water. I don't have the option on my 05 to just do the sensor. Also, my neighbor downstairs from me works at a ford dealership so I probably won't be paying the full amount to get it flashed. It's happened a few times now, the wrench, and it goes a while for a while after I clear it. So I'm thinking if it was just sticky from dirt and buildup, It'd happen more often because erasing codes doesn't erase the gunk inside. When I replace it I'll clean my cai as well. I'll update here what happens after I find the time to do it

Nice looking F-150, wish I could do mine, but I tow a heavy boat and don't want to mess with it. I did however just finish a 3.5" lift and new 33" tires and wheels on my 98 TJ...

Before

After

Proud co-pilot

Where did it go?

Here's the only shot I could find of my F150...

A few things.....

First, sweet *** truck. You did a great job and it looks fantastic.

Second, you make my stock 13 Platinum look like a ***** boy truck now.

Third, will you marry me ??

Nice! Looks great. As much as I love trucks nothing beats driving a wrangler. Boats are always a blast as well. Only thing I tow are my jet skis which I'm not worried about. Jeep addictions are the worst to kick lol
