Woohoo that will be exciting.
Also one of my buddies sent me info about jobs in Afghanistan so if your interested let me know. I know you we're over there but if ya want the info I will look thru my email and find it for you.
Only way to make money in Afghanistan is if you're communications or security.. I dont run the road for less than 12g's a month.. A lot of folks jump on contracts for low ball pay and screw everybody else up come contract renewal time...

I wouldn't mind making that starting in the AF haha. Doubt it will happen though. Thinking about going into programming or IT

Fuugz Yeah Programming and IT is wide open. I did not like programming when I was doing my Computer Science degree, so I knew thats not what I wanted to do. But if you do, the SQL, JAVA, .NET and HTML5 Developers are hot commodities seems like now days. IT is so broad, you can do a lot and still be paid well. I'm on the routing/switching side of IT. I also do software configuration management and some IA stuff. I love it. Get some IT certs too. A lot of employers look for them.

KingRanch4Life I don't know what the money is like there, some one I know sent me the job info. He works at Boeing and has been there lots of times. I can ask him. I do know people who has went over there, made the money they wanted to make and came back and bought houses, cars, etc, what ever they want and paid for them cash so they don't have to have a mortgage or payment. My husband was going to go with his job, but he had to have back surgery, so he didn't go.

The market really opened up in 2010. Lots of military and civilians caught wind of contracting and flooded the market.. Before in the 2004-2009 era the market was small and the demand for qualified people was high and companies would pay top dollar for that person...

For the job i worked i was qualified to do 9 different jobs within the company all different pay rates.. Good thing was.. It was only 17 of us qualified for 1 of those job titles.. Job security.. Now they take a new guy 6 months in country and throw him in that job to fill a slot.. He gets paid top dollar for not knowing anything about what he's doing.. Company doesnt care.. The 13 qualified will pull the weight of the unqualified...

Yeah. I didnt see that happening. I will essentially be taking a pay cut since I make about 30 landscaping.
ComQuest thats good to hear. I plan on going back to school to get a business management degree while enlisted so that will open some more doors for me.

Anyway, I need opinions on fiberglass flares. I believe fiberworks makes some that don't look too bad and give me 4" of coverage. Not sure how it would look with a lift though.

What about just doing a raptor conversion instead of the fiberworks fenders?
