I always wanted to go 4x4ing in the sand, totally different to what I encounter in my area.
We used to rock trail and some sandy trails it was fun but not as fun as dune bashing! its worth trying

its been a while now since i wanted to change my speakers.
the rockfords were better than the oem but still there are better speakers out there.
Since the front speakers stopped working a few weeks ago, i bought these bad boys

The rockfords werent installed properly so the wires were loose. I did it right this time with the installation and the Pioneers made one hell of a difference in sound quality!

Its been a while since i updated my build. It was an exciting offroad season, many pics to share.
First things first, i finally concluded that my wheels/tires setup are mainly for show. So i decided to get me Carabidae new shoes.

Also, the 5.4 lacks performance on many levels, im just trying here to minimize it as much as i can. Adding a little rumble out of the oe exhaust. JBA Shorty Headers silver ceramic.

It was a long day at the worshop, i left with a headers leak at the flare, will need an O-ring or some sort of sealer.
I went straight home after finishing the install, adding the leak, i cant give any feedback on the shorty's yet. On another note, the new wheels/tires setup is just what i aimed for. driving the 5 miles home, i felt the truck got smoother than it was with the 20s. Yet i still have to use it a little more. Let's give place to some pics.

Looks better with the trophys and ATZ P3s man! How do they ride compared to your other setup?

Thanks man,
I still cant really tell, since i just went back home after mounting them. But i can definitely tell they are noticeably quieter. Sidewalls look better

Snap! Looks much better than the 20's, I like a wheel with some meat to it and now I know what my next tire purchase will be. Hadn't even thought about MT tires, when I wore a younger mans clothes I was a drag strip junkie, that brand was well known for awesome strip tires, never imagined they made truck tires.

Yup, really like the look of the ATZ P3s. Seem like a good intermediate between an AT and MT. Sidewalls look clean but aggressive at the same time. I've heard they do well in the mud and sand considering they're an intermediate.
