OEM look build
This is my first Ford, already been a GM and Toyota guy. In Nov I purchased a 2015 F150 Lariat sport FX4 5.0L with 3.31 gears. Ideally I would have liked a 3.5 without FX4, but the 2015's were getting hard to find.
My goal with this truck was to not get carried away. I always end up going to town on my trucks with mods. Wasting money and taking away all the stock look.
I believe Ford did a good job with the new F150's so my goal is to be subtle.
Things I've done:
- purchased new take off 20" wheels with 275/60r20 goodyear duratacs. Never really liked the look of duratacs, but I got a good deal on them. In the end I'm really happy with how the ride and their traction in snow. Better in both aspects than the adventure AT's that came on the truck, which I thought were great too.
- 1.5" level
- oem splash guards
- 35% front window tint
- Diode Dynamics LED switchback's
- 80w Cree fog lights
- 5w Cree LED license plate lights
- Pioneer TS-A 4-way speakers in rear doors. Still contemplating if I want to replace all of them.
Next I want to get a hard rolling tonneau and maybe go up to 2" in the front with fox 2.0 or bilatien 6112's. I'm also contemplating some fox 2.0's for the rear to help with the rocking/bouncing back to front I have now that the weight of the truck has transfered a bit to the rear with the level kit.
