Default Project Daily Duty

Howdy, a couple weeks ago i picked up this f150 that a guy started a restoration on but decided to pick up a newer cumins ram instead. She's a 94 XLT 5.0 with a 4r70W (according to the previous owner). it came with 2.73's and someone put a 3.08 axle in the back.

The 302 is 6500 miles old. stock rebuild with E303 cam. Suspension is all great (new bushings and everything up front). new tires, new alternator, new fuel pumps, and all new exhaust from the terrible factory cast iron manifolds back. it even passes emissions.

I got it because I needed a daily so i could restore my other car. I'll be checking out the brakes today as i think the front rotors are warped but so far here's what i've done.

the dash bezel was falling apart everytime i touched it and i couldn't see the guages at night.

problem solved.

It had a paper filter which can't be helping with mileage so i've fabbed up an adapter assembly for the stock air box. just need to make a cover to hide the filter.

next up is fixing the brakes and AC when my parts get in. I intend to fully restore it someday.

here's some current dirty shots:
