HighAngeledHell's FX4 build.
So back in oct 2011 I got my first ever vehicle, a 2002 F-150 Harley Davidson. Well that got totaled when some jackass t-boned me. Only have one picture of it and I lost it. So after that I bought a 2001 F-150 2wd supercrew short bed. Didn't do much to it. Sold it to my dad when I left home for the army in August 2012.
So I got stationed at Fort Lewis, WA(40 miles south of Seattle) in December 2012. I immediately went out vehicle shopping. I knew I wanted an F-150 since I loved my previous two. I test drove a ram 1500 and a GMC sierra and did not find them as good as the Ford. I found this only half an hour north of me in a pretty small town.
a 2004 FX4 short bed with the FX4 lux package, 76K miles on it.
About a week later I went out and put on a Flowmaster 40 Si/Do muffler and plastidipped my stock wheels/emblems.
So after that I became a member of the forums. I loved the look of the salleen grille and had to have one. LUCKY I found on on craigslist. The guy was looking get it back to stock so he can sell it. So I took the Salleen Grille and his spyder projector headlights with HIDs included all for $160. I was amazed at the deal I got.
Now came wheels and tires since mine were near balding (I used that to get a deal on the truck). I knew I wanted 20s and 33s since i wasnt thinking of leveling the truck at the time.
I found some 20" Raceline Raptors on sale at a local tire shop and some used BFGoodrich Rugged Terrains 33x11.50x20 for $400 (only had 1k miles on them)
There's a guy who makes custom vinyl decals on base, got him to make me this and my dad mailed me my license plate frame from the old truck.
Also removed the Tonneau cover and side steps.

I wanted some ground clearance with the 33s since it kind of looked awkward so I found a 2.5" HBS leveling it. Probably one of the best investments I made on the truck.
Then I made friends with the parts guy at Ford. He helped me get my hands on some 2011 bed decals and the red fx appearance package badges for cheap. Installed everything at the same time.
As you can see there was scratches from the old badges being under there. I buffed those out quickly. Looks good as new now.
So Now I wanted a new head unit. I wanted a touch screen with iPod use so I picked this up at a local audio shop. a Pioneer AVH-3500
Has everything I need from bluetooth, ipod, and rear back up camera.
My dad knew about how I couldnt keep the truck out of the mud and it raining all the time. He came up to visit me and didn't want the carpet getting ****ed up so he insisted on buying me some weathertech digital floor liners. They fit snug and keep the carpet looking new.
So I headed over to the local 4wheelparts to look at an edge since everyone on the forum was raging about it. I figured why not and got the Edge Evolution CS.
So now that I was leveled I wanted bigger (or at least beefier) tires. I found some 35x12.50r20 Toyo Open Country AT IIs and sold my roommate the BFG's for the same $400 I got them for. He loved his new tires/wheels and couldn't get enough pictures of our trucks.
Saw this at the smoke shop one day. I kept staring and my girlfriend said if I paint my truck pink shes selling it. Sigh.. I can dream though.

So I blew up a fog light, not sure how, the bulb literally just cracked in half one day. I special ordered some green HID's for the fogs and i'll keep the low beams at white with a blue tint. They came in about 4 days later.
Honestly the light output is amazing. I can drive with just my fogs and the road is still lit up.
So I've never actually put weight in the truck yet in the 4 months i've owned it. I found a project bike for me (I knew I wanted a bike but couldn't ride it til summer anyways). A 2007 Suzuki GSXR 600. Guy got in an accident in the rain. Busted up both ferrings, and basically every other piece of body it has. Thankfully the motor still runs perfectly and it rides.
Hopefully in about $1100 and a few weeks this will be rideable.

Got around to doing my rear emblem. I think it looks nice.
I also added some Rockford Fosgate Punch 6x8 speakers in every door. The sound difference from stock is amazing. Now to get my subs installed.

Went back to my stock heads and HID bulbs. Probably going to PTM them soon but I somewhat like the chrome because it matches the fogs better. I'll be PTMing the fender flares/wiper cowl/bed rail caps sometime this weekend I hope.
Anyone know how much it will cost to tint the front windows? I think I'll leave the rears alone.

All washed up so I snapped a pic. I think later this week I'll do the tinting and sometime soon I'll be going back to cali to get my camera and stop getting phone pictures. I also want to take pics on the beach!

Hey man, Good looking truck!!
Quick question. How do you like that Edge Evo CS? A member on here has one for sale and thinking about picking it up. Just curious on how you like it.
