I hear you it the black one. I have the dark red screw but traded in a black screw for it. To be honest-aside ffrom the horse power of the ecoboost vs the dog of a 4.63v I do miss the black. But, I love the horsepower. besides, when I am in i cant tell what color it is.

Your new one can hang with your old 1 for sure. Wheels/ties look great. My bro in law had a friend sell raptor tires/wheels for 800 bucks-I almost cried. Ida paid that for sure. Oh well we miss opportunities.

I got a couple of other things done on my truck. The first is a 20" led lite bar i mounted in the bumper, which i got from Extreme off road lighting, which is a board sponser with an awesome warranty and service, and a great product! For the switch,i didn't want to drill the dash and didn't like having it mounted under the dash so i came up with a different idea.I don't smoke,so i thought what the hell i'll used the cig.lighter for a switch. What i did was pulled the lighter, cliped the power wire and taped it up but left the ground, and then used the ground side from the relay for a switch wire which i hooked to the clipped wire on the back of the lighter. So now all you do is push in the lighter to turn on the litebar. Here's the pics.

The next thing was i scored a non flow thru console that was a new truck take off,so i installed it today. Here's the pics of it after i got it installed.

Done a couple of more items this weekend.First i got a little extra material from Katzkin to match my seats, and covered the little panels beside the door handle.

Next i installed a set of Amp Research power steps.Amp will tell you they don't fit a regular cab,but they must have used one of the older ones that had the back doors. They will fit a 2010 reg.cab and newer without issue. After cutting the length to 50",they were installed and wired.
