It's one of those things where I'm going to risk not doing it. Should have my degree finished in the fall, early spring. If this engine last 2 years, that's all I need. Then if I keep it I will look into doing a engine build. I should have new gears coming during the summer so that will take off quite a bit of stress off the motor.

I was losing oil for a few months now. About a quart a month. The motor has 225k+ miles on it, so I new the time was coming. Finally started leaking out of the heads and mixing with coolant. I had a rod knock develop so it was time for a heart transplant. I was just hoping it would be later instead of sooner lol.

Glad you've got a new power plant for it though. This beauty needs to be back on the road.

Called the shop yesterday, they said the guy has been out with food poisoning and won't start on it to Monday.
