but, not applicable to his truck.
Ah, thanks nfldfordman. Disregard then lol

My odometer is the analog one. The worm gear inside wears out over time and needs to be replaced. However last time I replaced a worm gear somehow my whole cluster stopped working and I had to buy a new one. So I'm getting somebody else to fix it this time lol.

Got a phone call from the transmission shop that they are finally going to be able to drop the pan to see what is causing the transmission slip code. They said they drove it and didn't noticed anything abnormal. I miss driving my truck.

I agree 100%. If they do find something it will probably take them another month. They have to do it all out of warranty so they aren't getting paid. So they are in no hurry at all. I have been calling them everyday so maybe they will work on it sooner.

I would think that if it's all warranty then they would want to just get it over with and get it out of the shop so they have that shop space for another customer that would bring them in more money

That would be nice, but I can see them working on paying customers vehicles first and mine on the down time, they have a pretty big shop, which sucks lol. My inspection is expiring this month on my truck, I need to get my check engine light off, and I can't do that till I get my truck back.
