So I have some left over STP sound deadener products from another car I was working on, was curious if anyone has added any to these truck and if so where would be the most effective area to put what I have. Thanks!

Looks good. Seen your truck around town, was surprised to stumble upon someone else from Ketchikan on one of these forums. I just picked up my first Ford last month, and have been busy changing some small stuff. Saving money for exhaust, level, and bigger wheels.

Yep picked up a black 2007 XLT with 75K on the clock. I have always been a chevy guy, but the bodies kept falling apart here on the island. I had that 01 orange extended cab that used to roll around town.

Recognized the your user name. That was a nice looking Chevy you had, really liked the color. Glad you made the switch though.

Plasti dipped all my chrome except exhaust today.

Okay, warm day today..rolled my window down and all I hear is SQUEEEEEAK. Any clue what it is? My older VW has the same issue and have YET to figure it out..very annoying.

Was told silicone spray in the tracks, will stop by napa tomorrow and try it.

Thanks. It did work, when its nice again though I have to take the door panel off and spray the whole track. But it did help. Will try it on my VW tomorrow and report back.
