Lol you should do a heated steering wheel. Could you let me know if the fuse panel is hard to replace and what part number you had to get when you end up changing it?

I don't get enough cold weather to justify the added work of doing a heated steering wheel. I will post progress and full detail of anything I do. I'm getting better at taking pics of my progress instead of just the end result. haha.

Handles are staying black, but once I get the rocker panels done, the caps will be ptm.

I got a set of Retrofits done by a member on here. They are sick, but while they were in production I researched a TON and once my lights showed up, I could have done them myself and been way ahead. Just my 2 cents, if I could do it again I'd take the risk and do them myself. Not a knock against the guy that did mine, but I like DIY projects because I'm solely responsible for quality. That and I'm tempted to take mine out to reseal them and to replace the shrouds, but without knowing how he went about attaching the existing projectors and shrouds that $45 quick change could turn into a $600+ f*** up.

I agree with keeping the handles black, I saw a picture of your truck but with PTM door handles and it looked off, maybe to monochromatic. Rocker panels black and then the mirror caps PTM is going to look awesome! Excited to see where your build goes man.

Hey man,
Thanks for the advice. I have put some serious thought into it and the ONLY reason I am having someone on here build be a set is because of my patience level with things like that. My fuse is simply just too short or else I know I could do own set.

Yeah the door handles would look odd, I am stoked though to get the truck done, I'm hoping to get it done this summer. I just need another warm summer haha.

Thanks man! That isn't a lake though, that's the ocean. It's called Tongass Narrows, I live in Temperate Rain Forest, our average temp is 45* year round. We don't get much snow/cold and we don't usually get really hot, I mean some years are except from that, last summer was in the 80's. So yeah. But it is very beautiful here when it's sunny. Also have some of the best Salmon fishing in the world. Salmon Capital.
