^^Thank you. Yeah when I first saw it when I was looking for trucks I didn't want this one at all. They had a Race Red (I think) 09 Screw that I wanted but I couldn't afford the loan payment at the time so I settled with this one..boy am I glad I did, turns out the owner of the red one has had a TON of issues with the tranny in it.

I guess it was meant to be.

So going to pull the trigger this spring/summer and get some new tires for the truck. I'm torn between 315/70 or 285/75 for it though. I want the goodyear duratrac's for sure, but not sure about size. Any suggestions.

Nice build man. I've got a cousin to yours. Silver 05 fx4.

Ever thought about some bushwackers? Just my opinion but I think it would look awesome

mine has a rancho level and nitto terra grapplers 295/70/18. (Almost 35") I know you said were looking for new tires.

^^ Thanks man. I have thought about them, but there are already a lot of trucks here with them, so I am looking out for something different. Nice truck too btw.

So I have been having some steering issues with my truck the last 2 weeks. At first it was intermittent, some days it would steer just fine, then for a day or two it was really stiff. Then it would be where it was nice for the first 10-20 min of a drive then would stiffen, well it seems like it's just stiff now. I researched it a bit and most seem to say it's the steering shaft with the 2 u-joints on the ends, to grease/lube those and it should help a bit. Well tried that...doesn't help at all. So I'm thinking now that it is either the power steering pump and/or the high pressure switch/hose. So I have the dealership ordering those for me, unfortunately I'm looking at 3 weeks out for the parts.

I'm just wondering if there is any other troubleshooting I could do before I go ahead and replace those parts. Any ideas?

So took the truck to a Shaub Ellison and they looked it over said all looked good but did max my power steering fluid because it was closer to the low then the max.. So far it seems to have fixed it.. That seem odd, I didn't think it was that picky.. Will know more as I drive it I suppose. Also scored some fender flares this weekend so will try to get those on this week some time. Also snapped this pic while at work.

Good deal... Every so often take a turkey baster and pull some old fluid out and refill... Over time you eventually replace most of
It....I try to do this with each oil change... Could be adding just a touch of new fluid helped.

Just a few more pics. None of these are edited at all. Still playing with the new camera.

Wow, over 15k views. That's pretty neat. Any suggestions for the ones that view this thread? I'm always looking for new things to do to the truck.

So the things I have planned for this year are: Retrofit's, leather wrapped steering wheel, new fuse panel so my heated mirrors work, review camera, lights in my center console, install my fender flares and plastidip them and my rocker panels, and some new tires (285/70 17 Goodyear Duratracs)
