Have you pulled the flooring to make sure there isn't rust underneath? My grandpa's 06 had this problem on the driver's side. I think it's from catching his shoes on the flooring. Definitely looks better with those wheels.

Interestingly I have, there is definitely some attention needed there. I thought it was odd for a truck that has spent it's life in middle and east TN. It's only on the drivers side.
It's a point where it can be managed, but too much longer and it'll be problematic. Is this a common problem?

Default Much Base, Very XL

Kind of. It's just the wear and tear of driving imo.

picked up a OEM CD radio from a Mercury Montego on eBay for $23.

Was going through our warehouse back in Knoxville. Found a cut to fit bed mat that we've had for who knows how long. We've also got a boat load of floor mats so I'm going to throw a carpet set in the truck since it's got the vinyl flooring. Got to love freebie finds!

talked myself in to pulling the trigger on the Bully Grille overlay today as well. Excited to get everything looking good on the truck

(flame away, I know there are some mixed opinions on this thing)

Did a little plastidipping on the truck this morning. It's a close enough match that I'm very willing to keep it.

The Before! A whole lot of base model up in your face

Thought I had more than one can of plastidip on hand...I didn't, had to make a run to the store. BUT you can see the potential

BOOM! Slightly less base model up in your face

Looking like one of them real boys with their XLT models!

Pulled it out in to the sun for a few shots.
You can see the difference, there is no question there. It does however look better than it did.
I think once the bumper and truck are equally dirty, it will blend nicely.
