Figured I'd throw an update on board. First the good:
Plastidipped the fender flares just to see how they would look and they came out great. Looking to have the truck dipped soon. 900$ to have the entire truck dipped vs 3000$ for a wrap. In 20 months the 3k$ won't be such a big deal, but right now it is.
Just got the tracking number on my new grille, pics to come once its installed.
Now the bad: My truck has ridden rough as heck since about 8k miles. It is almost 1 year old to the day and has 22k miles on it. About 500 miles ago I decided to take a look at my front end and noticed both my front shocks just didn't look 'right'. I'll try to post pics later as photobucket has been having issues. Long story short BOTH of my front shocks were completely blown. As in, when I got them off the truck and handed them to a buddy, he just leaned against one, not pushed, just leaned, and it fully compressed without any resistance. Same for the other side. Truck is a 2013 FX4 ECO SCREW with a 2" level, 305/55/20 nitto terra graps, and 20x9 Black Rhino Sidewinders. I'm finishing residency right now and also in the National Guard so its been a commuter vehicle for the past year. No hunting, off-roading, etc. Ford offered to warranty the shocks, but I'm not a fan of anything stock, so took the opportunity to put Pro-Comp ProRunners on the Front and Pro-Comp MX6's on the rear. Ride is 10x better than stock, just irritated to upgrade shocks when I'll just have to do it again when I buy a lift. Another bonus to the new shocks though? Gained almost 2mpg from just that switch.

Ya I've been to the site several times to order different things. Only problem is I don't have a "shop" or building to spray it in. If I did, I'd buy that set up in no time and already have my truck done.

Finally installed.. Been way to cold to mess with it before now..
Just got the tracking number from Franchi, so the next toy should be here in 2 days. Definitely looking forward to it!

To be honest I have never been a fan of those big empty after market grilles on the F150. In my opinion your original grill dipped in carbon fiber looked really good. I would like to know how you did that. Nothing personal. It's just my preference. Otherwise the truck looks bad ***. Love the hood.

The dip actually held up really well. Grille was completely disassembled and then dipped. Took several attempts to get an even application. Cleared with several coats for protection. The dip grille did well, but was always just an experiment while saving money. The new grille fits the hood scoop and goes along with the "theme" I have pictured in my head. Plus Royalty Core gave me a great discount and had it done in literally 2 days. Fit and finish is top notch.
Now sitting in the cold while my new toy works....
