FML!

Was under the truck making these little abs sensor guards... apparently the sensor snaps off at the plastic and its a few hundred to fix. And its on the front side of the axle... brilliant design. And I see my damn Icon shock shafts are rusted. I lightly knocked off the surface rust with a 3m scuffy pad and coated them w/ some oil. Im headed to Windrock next week so shipping them now isnt an option. This crap is ridiculous... I want an old truck, old parts, less rusty disposable electronic cluster f's.

Front shafts look fine.

Good looking truck. I thought I read somewhere that you were only 2" on 34s but now you lowered? That sucks about the rust, I take it you didn't get icons special coating, also are you running they're low speed valving or regular?

Yes i lowered it from 2, its much better now... No bump, really nice ride. Icons "coating" is only on the alum body, not the shafts. They are standard valving

My brothers and I ventured out to Windrock over Thanksgiving break. Got to the trails and this happened.... #fordproblems

Just kidding! Dual batt solenoid was stuck or something. Was making a ton of racket.
Truck did great. Sliders worked and skids worked... the subframe needs a modification on the transfer case one, I left the ends unsupported for some reason and it bent up. Yota is my brothers - has all of my Tacoma's old parts. We stuck to the blue trails. The one black we tried had ruts on the uphill that you'd need 40's to clear without riding on axle/skids the whole way up.

And these trail grapplers.... awesome!

Very nice man! I finally ordered my 35 12.50's so hopefully my truck will be ready for some trails soon. Can't do much like what you are doing here though. Need something much less rocky lol. Looks like fun though!

Love the soft topper on the yota. Have you thought about adding one to the f150?
