My trucks pretty loud but that's cause it's got 2.5" duals and one pipe rusted out under the cab and it's got allot of noise on the highway which I like my last truck I replaced the muffler with pipe and kept it at the stock exit location and that wasn't that loud unless you got after it and sounded great I thought got allot of compliments but Idk if thatll pass inspection if you have it in your state

You could just get a nice tip for maybe $20 sorry not trying to be pushy just giving more options and trying to save you some money I like saving money

In the wonderful state of Virginia you can't drive on the highway with cat-back straight pipes, and you can't run true straight pipes without cats. And depending where you go to get inspected you might not pass inspection with straight pipes w/ or w/o cats. Definitely w/o cats.

It's ok and I've looked at tips, but just haven't found any I'm happy with or that I like. And who doesn't like saving money

That's what I want but haven't seen any with the same angle cut as the tail pipe on the truck. And flat black color would be nice

So I got my truck back today from my neighbor who was borrowing it, and I wanted to look under the dash to see whether I would need to do the zip tie mod or not, and it Definitely looks like I'll be doing that. Lol. There's a lot of slack there.. I'd say maybe an inch or maybe a little less.

Yea I would like it to warm up again before I go to do my speakers and by the way I ordered a bunch of LED's for the interior, I've got them for the dome, gauge cluster, and temp control. I'll see what extra I have left over after I install them to see where else I can put them.

And do you know of any good high temp paint? I'm looking for flat black. I've looked at rustoleum and they seem pretty good.
