I'm digging the toned down look for now. Matches the rest of the truck better.

I really liked how the mesh grille looked on your truck. it gave it a more custom look. What didn't you like about it?

Everything else about the truck, ie. the king ranch leather, the non-black wheels, the two tone paint, the hidden steps, gave off a luxurious feel.

That grill had more of a "bro/murdered out" feel, which was mainly caused by the rivets. I thought I could overcome that by painting them the same color as the grill to blend them in, but wasn't able to accomplish what I was going for.

Finally got a chance to take some full truck shots with the new tires.

Looking at the full shot picture you're right I think that grill looks better. Actually your whole truck looks good. I'm not usually a fan of chrome wheels but seeing how they look on your truck over all has me reconsidering. I used to have a Lariat but always wanted a King Ranch because the interiors are sweet. Nice truck I really like it.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I too used to only like black wheels. (You can see a picture of my old truck on page 2). I'm actually not even a fan of the two tone paint but once I saw the interior I couldn't settle for any other trim level so I went for it.

And the wheels are actually machined aluminum, not chrome. Here they are:

I don't know the shiny billet just doesn't do anything for me on new trucks.

Truck was at discount tire today getting the wheel lips refinished. Guy did an amazing job, can't even tell they were damaged.

It's unfortunate they damaged my wheels in the first place but they made it right and treated me like first class during the process.

Haven't done any mods recently but I did pick up 200 cedar pickets and 46 2x4s for a new fence.
