Nice. Glad the techs at Mel Hambleton did you right. They seem like a good group of guys and gals. Which reminds me I need to check on my application there for part time work. Lol.

Yeah, I've been very satisfied with their service. I've installed my rear Fox shocks, Autospring leveling kit, and now the Bora wheel spacers. They warranty the work, not products, but I know that going in, great staff, professional and friendly.

Good luck, I hope you get the job! Let me know if you get it.

I really like those stock 20's with a spacer to push them out!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. I'm glad I got the spacers, saved me a ton of cash vs getting new wheels. Besides I really love the stock 20's and I'm happy I got to keep them while also enhancing the look/stance.

Now it just needs some meat on those wheels.

I like the mods you have done to your truck. Looks nice, hope I can start mine next week.

That's the plan, but I'm going to go through this set first. I'd say I'm about half way through the thread, so maybe by next summer.

Thanks Bedye 14. These f150 and their mods are so addicting. It took me some time to decide which direction I was going to go with. Be sure to plan it out, take your time and don't forget to enjoy it.

Default Update 11/24/14 New BFG KO 2s

Just replaced the Scorpians with the new KO2's last Thursday. It snowed here last Sunday and I was sliding all over the road, even with 4x4 engaged. My family was in the truck with me and I almost slid into someone. Abs kept kicking on and the traction was horrible. The stocks did pretty good last winter, but now with 17k miles, the traction has diminished. Surprisingly, there is still a lot of threadlife left, 9 out of the original 12.

Anyway, my wife said the tires needed to be replaced asap, I didn't hesitate
I decided on the K02s 275 60 20s and got them from Sams club. They had the best price with install and lifetime balance, rotation, and road hazard. Final price $1,201.87 tax included.

The difference between the ko2s and the stock is tremendous. Amazing what some new rubber can do to the overall feel of the truck. Road noise vs stock isn't even noticeable, about the same. Traction and grip is amazing! Before with the stocks I was peeling and sliding on dry roads un-entionally. Now, the KO2s grip as soon as I step on it. On wet roads, the truck drives like it's on dry road, I like! Excellent control in curves and windy roads. The aggressive look of the KO2s really complete the look of my truck and the Bora spacers enhance the tires by making them look wider than they are. I'm a happy camper
