Default JesusV's 2013 FX4 Build Journal

Welcome to my 2013 FX4 Build Journal. I purchased this beast of a truck on June 28, 2013 here in Wichita KS. It's a 5.0 with 3.73 gear, Luxury package, moonroof, navigation, and tow package. I use it as a daily driver with the occasional weekend excursions, light off roading, camping, and cross country trips. I like the stock look of the F-150's so the mods are streamlined/minimal. I won't be touching the engine anytime soon. Tires and suspension...mmm maybe after the truck is out of warranty.

List of Mods:

EZ tailgate assist
Bully LED rear step bar
DIY custom vinyl inserts to front grill and bottom spoiler
Soleci dual supertone horns added to grill
Tinted front windows
Stuffed sony sub with poly fill (recommended)
Go Rhino Xtreme sport bar with paint to match bars
4x Lamphus Cruisers LED floods 2900 lumens each mounted on Xtreme bar
OEM front bug deflector
Red F-150 overlays
DIY painted muffler tailpipe with VHT paint
Front bumper bottom grill
Tinted mirror side markers

Future mods:

Tonneu cover
2" lift kit
Duratrac Tires
X-liner

Stock form, day I brought it.

Supertones, front bumper bottom grill and Front bug deflector added

DIY Vinyl inserts added

Go Rhino Xtreme sport bar out of box

Painted Go Rhino bars to match

GoRhino installed with Lighthus cruisers x 4

Tinted windows, as it sits for now 10/23/13

Thanks Comquest. Hey do you have a build thread? I tried searching, but couldn't come up with anything. If so, link me!

Thanks, It'll look even better if I get that stage 2 (or stage 1) icon lift kit you guys sell. I have to save up for that though…this may take a while. LOL!

BFM was my initial color choice, but went with RR. It's a beautiful color, especially in the sun!

That's funny both runner ups were RR and BFM. I even test drove in the RR fx4, but in the end I went with the BFM since it reminded me of an 87 BFM mustang convertible I owned back in the 90's. Both are awesome in the sun!

I forgot to add some additional pictures. These are pics of the Lamphus cruisers, these lights are solid and super bright. They have a really good throw distance and a wide span, very pleased with them.
