I'd like it done by about the 20th just to have some break in time, get the oil and rear diff fluid changed out and all. Ibd either sent my heads out today or will this week, machine shop should take 2-3 days max so its about to get rollin
I wouldnt be so sure on 2-3 days at machine shop. These things take longer especially if youre on a waiting list.

I appreciate it! I'll buy you a plane ticket, cheaper than a shop lol. I've got a shop to do it in if it could get done over one weekend. The guy doing mine is older and works by himself, but he's quick! There is a shop about 20 minutes from here that advertises 24 hour service in most cases,a lot of hot rodders go to him.

The shop is getting my truck as soon as heads are in and machined,he said the price for just swapping motors is booked at $1800 but for me he'll put it together and install it for $1400.

So you'll have your truck back on the road in a couple weeks? You're gonna get everything lined out frame etc so when he calls you can have a truck again? Lol

Plan is to get the motor and exhaust done, then the frame and do the trans myself. Rear gears will be thrown in somewhere,I don't need my front gears right now
