Just ordered some WeatherTech mud flaps for both the front and back. I guess we'll see if they fit with the bigger tires.

Also, the exhaust is scheduled to be here tomorrow and I hope to have it installed on Saturday. I plan to do a before and after video to compare the sounds. But like everyone says, the sound over a video can never compare to being there in person. Guess we'll see.

Awesome build so far, looking really sharp ! Can't wait to hear how that upgraded exhaust sounds. Even on a video it should be great!

She's not clean, but I couldn't help myself. I walked outside after work today, and there she was...in all her glory

Truck looks great, I'm very jealous of that interior!

Well, the Solo exhaust showed up yesterday. Here is what it the truck sounds like stock:

So I did the install in my driveway, with no lift or jacks, and some wrenches. While I did prove that this is possible (even without cutting up the old exhaust to get it out) it would have been much easier with one other person and/or a lift. Total install took about 2 1/2 hours. But, it sounds AMAZING!! I can't believe how good it sounds actually. It's exactly what I wanted. I'm really glad I went with the addition of the Mach-46 muffler though because it is already decently loud when you get on it. At cruising speeds, you can barely hear it. A little rumble is all. Notice the difference in the size of the exhaust tip between the two videos. This 4 1/2 inch tip looks so BA. Especially with the larger tires. 110% satisfied. These videos don't do it justice, but here ya go!

Zero drone in the cab. In this video it's a little hard to tell because you can hear the wind when I get up to speed. But all you hear when cruising is a slight rumble.

And here are some pics just for fun:

That exhaust sounds mean!! Love the larger exhaust tip too. I'm glad it turned out just how you wanted, with no overpowering highway drone. Your research definitively paid off!

Snapped a couple of photos today. You can see the WeatherTech mud flaps I put on the back and the side view of the exhaust tips. Plus she's clean for a few days and I've gotta take advantage of the 2 or 3 days after a wash/wax that she will actually stay clean. Man, keeping a black truck clean is rough.
