I am leaning toward the Magnaflow based on price and the fact that the Borla Touring isn't that much more aggressive or louder over stock. I don't want something obnoxious, just a noticeable change. But I'm also looking at other brands with single side exit. I'm not a huge fan of the dual, straight back exit, which the Borla S Type has, but I like the sound.

I had considered a bull bar, but I'm leaning towards not getting at the moment.

Possibly aftermarket wheels down the road. But right now, at this exact moment, I am satisfied with stock wheels. But that could change in the next 5 minutes.

I also REALLY like the look of tow mirrors, but the $400 price tag isn't that appealing. Plus the fact that my power mirrors would no longer work and I use those everyday parking at work. Idiots can't park and could care less if your mirror is in the way.

Modding is never complete, so I am always on the lookout haha.
I hear ya man. It never really does. You think you are done but then you want something else done. LOL

Thanks mastersryan!

Well, I've decided what my next mod is going to be. I forgot that I was still due my fantasy football winnings from this year so I'm going to use that to buy some tow mirrors. Do I tow? Nope. Do I like the look. Yup. I don't think I would do it if I didn't have a level and bigger, more aggressive tires. But I like the look with that combo.

Welp...ignore that last post. I've decided against the tow mirrors. I think I want to retain the power fold feature on my current mirrors. So instead, I've decided to get a new exhaust. I said in the past that I didn't think this truck needed a better sounding exhaust as it's pretty decent from the factory. Buuuttttt, I couldn't resist. I just ordered the Solo Performance MR400, 4" Single-Exit Cat Back w/ the Mach-46 muffler from Stage3. I went with the addition of the Mach-46 to keep the sound down a little. After reading reviews, this seems to be the best sounding exhaust for the 5.0 and Solo's reputation is awesome. I had been considering a Borla, but for nearly half the price, I was able to get the Solo. Can't wait to put this thing on!

Nice Man, I wanted tow mirrors as well but decided against it. Glad you decided to keep your reg mirrors.

So I'm considering having the EVOX-R projector upgrade done by raptroretrofit.com. As much as I would LOVE saving money and doing this myself, I don't have the guts to crack open my stock heads to do this myself. Anyway, in trying to make my decision easier on the extremely expensive mod, I am trying to gauge interest on my stock HID heads. I'll eventually post in the for sale section, but I figured I'd post here too. I'd be looking to get around $900 for them, with bulbs, ballasts, etc. Everything someone would need to upgrade their 09+ halogens minus the H13 adapter harness. I see brand new heads with bulbs, ballasts, etc. on ebay for upwards of $1200. The truck has 2,700 miles on it currently. The heads are about in as good of shape as you would imagine a new vehicle with that many miles to have. The only stipulation would be that I couldn't sell/ship them until I got my new heads. The current lead time for raptorretrofits is 3-4 weeks. I wouldn't ask for payment until they ship. If anyone is interested, please post here or shoot me a PM. Thanks!

You can see more pics of the heads in this thread, but here is one just for reference:

What's your cause for wanting them?
I wanted slightly better performance earlier in terms of cut off, shapeless, and output but figured it's not worth it for the time I'm keeping the truck. I'm just changing the bulbs to a 5K now

The performance to the sides of the OEM HIDs aren't all that great. I love the upgrade of the HIDs over the old halogens, but I know I can have better. I can also have better output with the EVOX-Rs and a clear lense. The EVO's also have outstanding high beam performance. I've seen output differences and they are quite significant. It's going to cost some $, but I happen to have some extra money coming to me at the moment and figured I would jump on it. I just want to make sure I can sell my stockers easy enough to help with the price.

Yeah I get all the performance benefits. Corner illumination is a bit weak. I just couldn't justify spending that money for a truck that'll be gone in 3 years for just lights but of course we are in different positions. I'm putting D2's on the hood, have LED's in the fogs, and will be changing the HID bulbs. That'll hold me over until the 16
