Default 2013 Ford F150 FX2 customization

Hello fellow F150 owners. I bought my new truck a few weeks ago and have started to upgrade this truck into my dream machine. So far I’ve added,

Alarm with cell phone app for auto starts
Retrax retractable bed cover
Tint to the Front Windows
Weather Tech Mats front and back
6 inch Procomp Lift
20 inch Fuel Octane matte black wheels
35 inch Nitto Terra Grappler tires

Items on order but not installed yet,

Road Armor Front Stealth bumper with Lone Star Guard
Road Armor Rear Stealth bumper
4 PIAA 510 lights for the front bumper
2 PIAA 2000 Backup lights for the rear bumper
AMP Retractable running boards
Bushwacker Fender flares

Items I want but have not ordered yet (wish list),

Decals from Moody Blue for the F150 Badges, Ford ovals and replacement for the FX2 bed sticker
Truck Vault
AMP bed steps for the driver and passenger side of the box if they’ll fit
A Tailgate step that I like as this truck didn't have the ford one

Ok well that is what I’ve done so far and what I will be doing in the next month or so to this bad boy as well as what I would like to do in the future at this point. Myself I think this truck already looks great and will look outstanding when I’m done but feel free the chip in as this is the first time I’ve really modified any vehicle I own.

Definitely a good start. The future plans eliminates the negatives i had to say about the truck currently. I'd be curious to see how those road armour bumpers would look powdercoated the same color as the truck.

The bumpers will be powder coated black and the fender flares will be black also to match the wheels (or as close as I can get them).

great truck! Only things I would do is blackout the mirror reflector, Paint to Match the emblems, and put a sound system in, once again nice truck!

Thanks for the idea on the reflectors I'll take a look at that, as for the sound system this truck has the Ford Sony/Nav system in it and it does way more than I'll ever need it to (although sometimes the Nav shows me driving on say the access road when I'm in the fast lne on the highway..I haven't figured out that one yet).

To fix your NAV disconnect the neg terminal on the battery for an hour or two and reconnect. I had the same issue when I installed larger tires. Now its fixed after disconnecting battery.

Thanks for the information, when got home I contacted the dealership and they asked if I had large Tires put on the truck to which I replied..of course I do..you put them on. Any way they said that this was a known issue in F150s with lifts and large tires and that Ford was working on it and should have something out in a few months.

SO I decided to give your fix a try and around an hour later everything is working great. Thanks again for the help.

Here's the Blue Beast with the AMP running boards on it.
