Default The Silver Sleeper Build Thread

Hey guys, I've been on the forum for a couple years now, I had a 2003 F150 7700 Series. Well, a few days ago I went to the local Ford dealership and traded the old black beauty in for a brand new 2012 F150 XLT 4X4 EcoBoost. I love it so far!

This thread is where I will be posting updates of my truck, and the progression of modifications, 1/4 mile times, and anything else I feel yall might care about seeing or reading about. I hope yall enjoy it!!

So, to start off, here is a picture of my new truck sitting on the lot, when i was purchasing it.

Here is after I got it home, with a whopping 80 miles!

After. Couple days of driving the truck, and a little bit of research, I decided to not put a CAI on it, I purchased a K&N Drop in filter. I noticed mostly increased volume of spool. Which is fine with me!

So today I went and got the exhaust done. I had 4" pipe from the Y-Pipe back, with a MBRP flow through diesel muffler. I paid $350 for the full system, sure beats the $500+ systems out there..it is exactly the same thing as the heartthrob or the actual exhaust system offered by MBRP. Its all 4" Mandrel bent pipe. I went with no chrome tip, I wanted it to be as quiet. And as stock looking as possible, to keep the sleeper look I will be going with.
