Just make sure the gauge u get have the options ur truck has like: 4x4, locking rear end, reverse sensors, trailer brake, outside keypad, auto lights, and I'm sure I'm missing some. The mileage can be changed ONLY at a speedometer shop not at the dealer but the dealer can add the options listed above for the price

I dont think so i believe in 2010 the changed the module that controls most of the electric gagets from a GEM to a BCM I believe so im pretty sure it will only work for the 10-14 models.

I cant say 100% that it will work for every truck but it should! It worked in my STX and most other it will as well. Just make sure the options match (if not the ford dealership CAN program for a fee), switch out the buttons and all the functions of the gauge will work flawlessly.

Im looking into doing this as well. I have a 2014 stx super crew. No mods on it currently. I have the regular select shift, no auto lights or anything like that. Wanted to know if there is anything special i need to look for because I am totally lost following along on your other posts with requirements

- auto lights
- keyless entry (keypad in door handle)
- Factory Ford trailer brake (Not needed if not ford one)
- reverse sensors
- 4x4 (2wd truck can use 4x4 cluster but not vice versa)
- electric locking rear end

if you have no mods now will you later? Why im asking is if you plan on doing any of there go ahead and get them on you cluster so when you add them they will work right away!

Auto lights would come later and trailer brake. If i do not have them when i put the gauge cluster in would that make a difference.

The only thing i would look into is auto lights and factory ford trailer brake controller. I have the limited slip rear end so not locking rear end. Im not getting 4wd or keyless entry.

No you can put a cluster in with out the upgrades and it will work with no problems, but if you are planing to add them later i would go ahead and look for a cluster with those options on them so you dont have to deal with ford! Mileage dosent matter for around $100-150 can be changed at any spedo shop!
I have searched 2014 f150 xlt gauge cluster and it comes back with only 1.
