My past, present and future build 95 swb
I have never done a full build on my truck. It's just been a never ending project for me. It's one of those things that when you have what you want and you're able to, you're not getting rid of it.
I first off am a lucky guy. As a child I always did what I could to help out. I did my best in school, obeyed my parents and was an all around goody goody. Which if I think about I still am. I'm giving you this back story for this reason. My dad had a 78 that I always wanted but being I was 8 at the time he sold it, saying I would want a mustang for my first car. Time crept up and my dad always being a "car guy" we would go to car shows and dealerships checking out the cars. I continued to love trucks. At age of 14 (one month from my 15th birthday). We found a truck. Test drove it. Loved it. And my parents bought it for me there on the spot. In our state 15 is permit license age. So at age 15 I was high on life. Here is some of the early pictures of my truck. I apologize for the grainy look. But back in 96, there wasn't the best camera/computer tech.
I bought the truck with the chrome push bar. Which I still have. I added the rain gaurds which are still on the truck today.
Bought the truck with aluminum diamond play tailgate cover. still on today. I added the slotted taillight covers and duals.
And this it me. Truck is hitched up to pull a car for dad. Notice the added bug deflector and sun visor.
That is all the time I have to do this for now. I will update asap.
p.s. If anyone has seen recent pics of mine you know that this truck is a LONG build. So there will be more to come. Thanks for looking.

A couple years had passed and starting my junior year of high school and had the truck lifted. 6" superlift, 36x12.5 super swampers, 15x10 American racing rims, along with bushwacker extend a fender flares. Added bud deflector, sunvisor, cheap fog lights and grab handles

That's a sweet '96.
I drive by a nice looking red short box everyday on the way to work that looks like either a 94 or 95. I stare every time a drive by and keep telling myself one day I'm going to go knock on the door and ask how much for the Ford.
That's a classy truck with some history. It's nice to see you've still got it.

Junior year of high school thru Senior year I started getting crazy with the white paint. I took it to shows a good bit. Added some Grizzly double bend chrome steps, a double roll bar and a Ford flag.

Thank you. I do appreciate that. It has a been a long time and a strong bond. I will get back into posting more to this thread soon. I kind of got away from it bc I didn't think there was much interest.
