Gumby's 2014 4X4 STX slowbuild
Hey guys, I thought I would do a build on here to share what I'm doing and get some of your input. I bought my first American truck on July 4th (I figured it was a good day)!
Here she was the day I bought her!

Since then I bought it I did couple small things, a shorty antenna, a front license plate replacement, got the windows tinted, and Rhino lined the bed. Here she is the first time I got her dirty last weekend.

I plan on doing an AS level maybe 2.5 in the front and 1.5 in the back and then 33 or 34 trail grapplers here soon. Then maybe a light bar on the roof or grill. I want to replace the tail lights with FX lights and then getting a smoked 3rd brake light to make the rear end match. Any suggestions or comments on all that would be great, thanks!

Hey thanks, I'll probably go with some fuels or some other type of black wheels. 18s I think, something not too chrome or flashy, like the motos you have/had on your truck, those are pretty awesome. Any complaints or anything about those?

Just ordered some 20x9 fuel octanes and some 305/55/20 tires to go with it. I'll post some pictures here in about 2 weeks once I get the level and everything else on. I'm pretty excited!

Installed some HD tail lights and a Recon third brake light. I've heard lots of complaints about splicing it and how it seals to the truck but no complaints here, took 5-10 mins to install. Putting on my wheels and tires today after the AS level yesterday. I'm pretty disappointed in Auto Spring for not updating there instructions for 2014 f-150s, the strut assembly's are very different then the 2013s. Idk seems like laziness out of them to make me figure out the new way to install.

Got my fuel octanes in. I'm pretty happy with the outcome of my AS 2 inch 1.5 rear lift. Not so happy with the instruction as I said above but the outcome is awesome. My wheels stick out more then I expected but I was planning on getting fender flares eventually anyways so I'm happy. I have a little bit of rubbing on the front valence but I'll trim off maybe an inch this weekend and it should be perfect.
