I have yet to get stuck anywhere anyway, and the one place I got close, was the beach. Not exactly any good winch points in the sand anyway!

Old wedge style boat anchor used properly works for a winch point in sand. After you are done you can use the winch to pull it back out if you have to.

Shovel and some cheap ATV ramps did the job perfectly. That and patience coupled with some skill helped a lot.
