Thanks for the reply.

I'm stuck on the size now. 275/55/20 or 275/60/20.

Weight wise won't matter almost the same.
But rolling resistance from a taller tire?

What's your thoughts

The 275/60 is 1" taller but the same width as the 275/55. I have the 276/60s and I'm very happy with them. I would keep this size forever but my next tires(Toyo OC M/T) don't come in that size so I'll be going with the 305/55s.

The tread is the same, the width is the same, it would be almost no difference. I say go 275/60.

do you still feel the same about the 5100's on ride comfort? I feel as this is the "safer" option for me wanting to be level and not sacrifice ride comfort and throwing the suspension geometry off. I want the 5100's when I begin to look into tires. I also don't want to lose much on MPG's since 95% is city driving.

Well after driving it for a while, I'm still happy, but I'm ever so very slightly disappointed. At 1.5 the springs just a little loose feeling, while the shocks themselves make bumps just a little firmer.

It's funny, takes a while to get used to, but I still like them. I wouldn't take them off, so I guess that says something.

I would suggest just going with a full coil-over if you can swing it money-wise, but for me I got mine so cheap that it would've been stupid to not do it.

I will say this, the front is a little smoother, enough so that I now feel the rear bumps more than ever. 5100's for the rears are coming up soon.

So ya, positives and negatives. Just do the work yourself and the cost is well worth it.

I'm sorry if this is posted some where else, I was skimming through this thread and noticed the pictures of the paint pimples on your pickup. Do you know what caused them and are they noticable enough to where you are going to have to get them fixed?

Well they're paint inclusions. It happens when there is a speck of something under the paint. Ford has offered to repaint the whole truck, but I don't know if I want to do that. Concerned it won't look as good as new.

They're not massively obvious like a big scratch but I do notice them. I've been asked twice about them by other people so they are noticeable by others too.

I've been holding off on doing anything and waiting to see if maybe I can live with it. But every day I notice at least one of them and it's really bugging my brain....

We'll see what I do.

I have a 2014 RR FX4 5.0. This thread is a good place for ideas. Your truck looks great without going too far. Thanks for taking the time to post it. I like to keep mine fairly stock looking while adding in the performance my pickiness requires.

As soon as I saw that black exhaust tip I have been looking for it everywhere. I can't find that style of tip in black. The only one I can find has a decal on it or is cut slanted. Where did you get yours from?

Thanks, that's exactly what I was going for. Clean and OEM with some flair.

The tip is available from a few places, this is the cheapest I found it in the size I wanted.
Amazon.com: Gibson 500641-B Elite Series Exhaust Tip: Automotive Amazon.com: Gibson 500641-B Elite Series Exhaust Tip: Automotive

Mine is 3in/3.5out but they make a 3in/4out also. I really like it. Because I cut the piping 8 inches shorter and put this on at the end of the piping you don't see the original pipe inside. Dare I say it has made it slightly louder also? On idle there is definitely a faint rumble that wasn't there before.

You gonna dip your piping too?

Random question for y'all. What do you think about something like this for my wheels?
